‘Unless otherwise stated’는 ‘다른 언급이 없는 한’, ‘달리 언급을 하지 않는 한’을 의미합니다.

계약서(contract)에서 적지 않게 쓰이는 문구 중의 하나입니다.

‘Unless otherwise specified’, ‘unless otherwise noted’, ‘unless otherwise indicated’와 같은 의미를 가지고 있습니다.

All pizzas come with a tomato base and cheese unless otherwise stated (별도로 표기되지 않는 경우를 제외하고, 모든 피자는 토마토와 치즈가 곁들여집니다).

만약 논문에서 쓰이는 경우에는, 데이터를 보여주는 표(table) 또는 그림(figure)의 범례(legend)를 부연설명 할 때에 적절하게 쓰일 수 있는 표현입니다.
