초록이나 서론에서 논문의 주제나 내용을 먼저 간략하게 소개할 때에는 ‘discuss’ 또는 ‘present’ 단어를 사용하는 경향이 강합니다.
그런데 이 단어들 보다는 ‘highlight’, ‘outline’, ‘feature’를 사용하는 것이 보다 active한 표현입니다.
“The present study outlines the theoretical propositions about the objects and effects of management”
“This work highlights the benefit of expanding the use of formal models”
“Our study features a cost-effectiveness analysis and the development of an alternative diagnostic model”
